DODGE

Absent for more than two decades, Dodge successfully returned to the Winston Cup scene in 2001 with four wins. With a victory in the August Pepsi 400 at Michigan, Sterling Marlin picked up Dodge's first Winston Cup win since 1977. Marlin added another win for Dodge later in the season, along with trips to Victory Lane by Bill Elliott and Ward Burton. In additon, Dodge dominated the Craftsman Truck Series, winning 15 times. Beginning with Lee Petty's win in 1953, Dodge has 164 Winston Cup victories all-time.

FORD

Led by Dale Jarrett's four wins, Ford continued its six-year streak of double-digit Winston Cup victories in 2001. In addition, Ford drivers rolled across the finish line first 12 times in the Busch Series and twice more in the Craftsman Truck Series. Starting with Jimmy Florian's win in 1950, Ford leads all Winston Cup manufacturers with 525 victories all-time.
